Prized throughout the ages, padparadscha sapphires are as beautiful and exotic as their name. The term padparadscha is derived from the Sinhalese word for salmon-colored lotus blossom. Overall, padparadscha sapphires are pinkish orange in colour but do vary in hue and tone.
